Maxene Magalona finds the preparation for her wedding a period to learn a lot of things in life.
In an interview with PEP, Maxene said her upcoming wedding with Rob Mananquil has been a “training ground” for her.
“The decision-making, the planning, the stressful days, how you handle stress, it will really help you and groom you to become a mom and a wife eventually,” she said.
“Planning for the wedding is a practice for when we’re actually married kasi every decision about the wedding, we’re both in it together,” she added.
Maxene cited her father Francis Magalona, a local rap icon, in revealing where the wedding would take place.
“Para sa tatay ko na maka-Pilipino, dito po ako ikakasal,” she said. (For my father who is nationalistic, I will marry here in the Philippines.)
“My dad’s love for the country is really so great. So I really want to marry here,”
Is she dreaming for a fantasy-like wedding like those in television dramas?
“I’ve never had that one dream wedding,” Maxene answered.
Regarding her wedding dress, Maxene said fans can expect a “girly, classic” gown.
The kapamilya actress got engaged last Valentine’s Day.
