MacDonald’s BTS Meal launch in the Philippines on June 18 had the South Korean mega band’s Filipino fans crowding various delivery platforms for their share of the limited-edition collaboration.
However, in the rush, one man stood out from them all for a different reason. Foodpanda delivery man Benjamin Baetiong took to Facebook to thank BTS fans — known as Army — for providing him work amidst the pandemic.

Stating that BTS Meals were selling very much and Foodpanda riders were very happy to deliver the BTS meals, he urged the BTS fans to keep on ordering these meals which provided jobs to the drivers.
One Twitter user was so happy to read Baetiong’s Facebook message that he started a donation drive on behalf of the driver — which witnessed the Army raising through hashtag #ARMYMealProject around Php45,230.77 (S$1,250) in barely one day.
