Three men were arrested in Abu Dhabi after their dangerous driving stunts were caught on surveillance cameras.
Police said CCTV footage caught the drivers racing on highways and internal roads in Al Ain late at night, or early mornings.

Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Director of the Central Operations Sector at Abu Dhabi Police, said strict action will be taken against the erring drivers for flouting road safety rules and “intimidating other road users and threatening their safety.”
Al Muhairi warned that violators will be arrested, their vehicles seized and legal action taken against them.
The violators are now referred to Public Prosecution for further legal action.

Meanwhile, Al Muhairi reminded the public that illegal acts such as indulging in road races or parades, hosting watch parties, or recording and publishing footage on social media is punishable under the UAE Law.
Violators will be slapped with a penalty of Dhs2,000, 23 black points and 60-day vehicle impoundment. (RA)
