TV host Billy Crawford said that leaving ABS-CBN after its shutdown this year was one of the most difficult decisions he had to make.
Billy however said that he needed to make this tough decision because he has started a family of his own with actress Coleen Garcia.
In an interview with Luchi Cruz-Valdez on TV 5, Billy explained why he was quiet and did not express his support vocally for the network’s franchise.
“I couldn’t stress her out. It was hard,” Billy said.
He also said that he thought of moving out from the Philippines and sell their properties to migrate abroad.
“I’m planning to sell everything and gonna move out of this country. And feels… wala, e, I didn’t have a job. You know what I’m saying? And if I did, it wasn’t really sustainable. I couldn’t sustain my family,” he said.
Billy is grateful to have new opportunities with TV5 and new source of income for his new family.
He said he is still in touch with some of his friends with the Kapamilya network.
Billy announced that he is joining the Kapatid network last September.
