Raise your flags – Philippines led the number of wins among all other South East Asian countries in the multi-sport event and bagged a total of 386 medals as the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) concludes.
The number of gold wins increased as athletes from various sports snagged the championship title with a total of 149 gold, 117 silver, and 120 bronze medals won by the Filipino athletes during the 12-day competition held in several parts of the country.

The country’s first world gymnast champ Carlos Yulo earned 2 gold medals and 5 silver medals in the all-round and floor exercise last week.
Filipino Olympians Hidilyn Diaz and EJ Obiena also scooped gold in their respective sporting competitions.
Meanwhile, Vietnam placed second overall with 98 gold, 85 silver, and 104 bronze, followed by Thailand in third with 92 gold, 103 silver, and 123 bronze medals.
