Residents of many areas in the province of Batangas woke up with thick ashfall caking landscapes after the ongoing Taal volcanic activity.
Over an inch of ash blanketed Alitagtag, Lemery, Bauan in Batangas.
Tagaytay City in Cavite and Cabuyao in Laguna were not spared from the thick ashfall, turning most roads, roofs, trees and almost almost everything around into grey.
Everly Catibog posted some photos of the situation in their area at Brgy. Bukal in Lemery in the early hours of Monday.
Almost zero visibility was observed on the roads as ashes were expelled from the volcano during its volcanic activity yesterday.
The particles were being carried by winds and passing vehicles, creating a thick layer of dust-like material in the air and road surface.
