In response to these changes and updates, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) – Dubai Chapter organized the Compliance Summit 2021 this upcoming October 29 at Shangri-La Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road. This event aims to enhance the members’ knowledge – adding value for their career growth, as the topics to be discussed are valuable for the companies.
Last October 9, a general meeting was attended by PICPA Dubai Leaders and the Executive committee with respect to the preparation for Compliance Summit 2021 as the main agenda. The topics to be featured are VAT updates, Economic Substance Regulation (ESR) and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO), and Anti Money laundering. Keynote speakers have a deep expertise on the topics with pertinent experiences with the field.
What is commendable for this, apart from the relevant topics, the event will be one of the immense efforts of the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program and committee, as the proceeds will be accumulated to benefit PICPA Dubai scholars.
Discussion during the forum aside from the upcoming event includes the accomplishments, targets, and action plans of each committee, as well as the programs and upcoming events of the organization.
