The Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong has announced that the first Filipina who tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is now fully recovered and has been discharged from the hospital.
“The Philippine Consulate General was informed today that our first Filipino Covid-19 patient in Hong Kong has been discharged from the hospital,” Consul General Raly Tejada said in a statement.
The Consulate General added that the Filipina worker is healthy and has returned to her employer’s home.
“While we still have two (2) Filipino Covid-19 patients in isolation we also expect them to be released soon as they remain healthy and asymptomatic,” the statement said.
