President Rodrigo Duterte has admiited that he is taking maintenance medications and checking his vital signs on a daily basis.
The President, however, clarified that this is common practice to people his age.
“Kung may tatay ka man 74, kayo kung ang tatay niyo 74, huwag kayong magtanong kung may maintenance kami. Lahat ng 74 may maintenance ‘yan, aspirin, for heart,” Duterte said in an intervie with GMA News.
He added that a person cannot be healthy forever.
“You cannot be healthy forever, you cannot live forever, but you can work tapos kung may medisina ka, mag-inom ka,” he added.
The President added that his body temperature and blood pressure are being monitored on a daily basis.
