An Asian taxi driver in Dubai molested a 12-year-old boy sitting next to him while the child’s mother was in the back seat with the rest of the family.
The embarrassed boy kept moving away but the driver kept reaching for him and caressing his legs, according to press reports.
The boy only told his mother about the driver when they reached home as he was scared to do so, the report said.
After the driver has gone, the mother called the police who identified the molester and arrested him.
“The driver confessed to molesting the child during police questioning…but he denied the charges before the prosecutor, who decided to refer him to court on molestation charges,” Emarat Alyoum daily said.
