DUBAI: Wemart, a specialty hypermart offering live seafoods, farm-fresh vegetables and a unique selection of gourmet Asian delicacies, has opened its third and biggest store, this time located right across from the Deira Clock Tower, right next to the footbridge.
And to start off with a bang, Wemart has rolled out a special opening promo where a Dh100-worth of voucher will be given to customers for every Dh100 they spend in the store.
The hypermart has two floors – a food court downstairs and an expansive shopping area upstairs with lifts available.
“We offer a big promo where you buy Dh100 worth and you get a Dh100-voucher,” said Jian Sheng Sun, CEO, owner and founder of the fastest growing hypermart chain in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He added: “Every Friday is our promotion day, so come over and enjoy shopping with us.”
Sun said Wemart will be opening in Abu Dhabi soon.
“We offer hot pot, milk tea, fried rice and fried noodles as well as lots of barbecues that Filipinos love,” Sun meantime said.
As most Filipinos are known to love adobo, comfort food they grew up with back home in the Philippines, Sun said Wemart also has fresh meat products imported from Germany and Spain.
Sun said Wemart is unique in that it has its own farm. “We don’t go to suppliers. We have our own farm produce that’s why we have them fresh every day,” he said. (JD)
In the coming days, Sun said Wemart will add its selection of food items that Filipinos love, including more hot pot selections as well as Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese delicacies.
