A former member of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Church has testified against its founder pastor Apollo Quiboloy and Felina Salinas, a church manager in its Hawaii branch.
The witness said that hundreds of thousands of dollars were smuggled from California to the Philippines in 2013 and 2014.
Witness Kristina Angeles said that Quiboloy and Salinas concealed the money in socks packed in suitcases. These were sent back to the Philippines.
Salinas and Quiboloy were arrested last year in Hawaii after they were caught possessing undeclared money amounting to $350,000 and gun parts on his private plane.
Quiboloy was released a day after, while Salinas remains on trial.
