Nine people were confirmed dead after a plane crashed in Barangay Pansol in Calamba City, Laguna on Sunday afternoon.
Laguna Police said that the crash took place at around 3:34PM. The plane was bound for Manila from Dipolog City.
They retrieved the bodies at the site, but manifesto only states there were eight passengers.
The plane was carrying 8 people and transporting a patient from Zambaoanga City for treatment.
“It’s medical evacuation plane with registration number RP-C2296 and it has lost radar contact on its way back to Manila from Dipolog City,” CAAP said in a text message to reporters.
