A father ended up taking his life after a heated argument with his son over a pet pigeon.
Police Corporal Aldrich Anadiesa, the investigator of Sagbayan Police Station, said the father hanged himself using a rope at the kitchen area inside their home in Barangay Poblacion, Sagbayan town, Bohol at 6a.m. on Tuesday.
Based on their investigation, the father got disappointed over his son’s intention of wanting to cook his pet pigeon.
Their argument happened a day before the victim hanged himself.
Prior to this, he also attempted to set his room on fire but it was quickly put out by his sons who just lived nearby.
