Sharjah Police fines may now be paid at any UAE Exchange branch in the country.
The Sharjah Police have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect to provide their customers residing in Sharjah with easy payment solutions for all fines other than traffic penalties, reported Khaleej Times.
Colonel Sultan Abdullah Al Khayal, General Manager – Resources and Support Services of the Sharjah Police and Promoth Manghat, chief executive officer of UAE Exchange Group, signed the MoU in the presence of senior officials at the Sharjah Police Headquarters, the report said.
“This partnership is in continuation with the efforts of the General Headquarters of the Sharjah Police. It is one of the best ways in providing and developing more services according to the best standards that meet the needs of customers, follows the best systems and applications in all fields,” he reportedly said.
Manghat, on his part, said: “We are privileged to join hands with the Sharjah Police to offer more convenience to the residents of Sharjah. Our partnership with the Sharjah Police will facilitate the residents to clear their dues effortlessly.”
As per the signed MoU between both parties, UAE Exchange shall collect the fines and the necessary details of payment from its customers and share it with the Sharjah Police, said the news portal.
