Popular Swedish furniture company IKEA will be opening its online store in the Philippines in 2021, ahead of the launch of its physical stores in Pasay City.
In a statement, the company said: “The company is bringing Swedish home furnishings and meatballs to millions more people in the coming year as it enters both Mexico and the Philippines, with web shops opening up months before the physical stores in both countries.”

The physical store of IKEA is located in Mall of Asia, and is set to open in November of next year. The company said it has spent an initial PHP7 billion for the Philippine store, and that once it’s open, it will be the company’s biggest in the world.
IKEA is also slated to open a new store in Mexico and Singapore next year.
