Free shuttle service offered between Dubai airports due to runway closure

Free shuttle service and discounts on taxis have been offered after the northern runway at Dubai International Airport (DXB) was closed, which has resulted in the diversion of several flights to Dubai World Central (DWC).

Dubai Airports has a free bus service between all DXB and DWC terminals every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, assuring a smooth transfer experience. DWC also features complimentary parking for up to 2,500 automobiles for those who choose to drive themselves.

For airport passengers, Dubai Taxi Corporation will waive the flag fall fee for any travel beginning at DWC. Meanwhile, those who use Uber car services can get savings by entering the code ‘DWC2022’ when ordering a car through the app.

RTA will also continue to run bus lines N55 and F55, providing a cost-effective alternative to DWC transportation.

The northern runway at Dubai International Airport (DXB) remains closed for over two weeks now and free services have been offered for passengers who intend to move between DXB and the DWC, according to Dubai Airports.

Multiple transport services between the two airports have been offered to cater to all travelers as during the 45-day closure period from May 9 to June 22 the Dubai Airports advised passengers to carefully check their flight information before departure.
