Filipinos eye jobs in Israel, Germany as COVID-19 curbs ease

Israel and Germany will have job openings for Filipinos after the lifting of COVID-19 curbs.

While Israel requires up to 800 hotel workers under government-to-government hiring programme of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), in Germany, POEA needs 600 nurses for the Triple Win program in 2022.

In Germany, the main requirement is German language proficiency.

The cap currently stands at 7,000 against 3,500 in early 2021.
