The Department of Labor and Employment announced that more opportunities await Filipino teachers in Taiwan.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Education has opened job vacancies for foreign teachers and teaching personnel.

DOLE said that the Taiwanese government has made available at least 450 teaching positions to foreigners in primary and secondary public schools this year.
Teachers in Taiwan can earn at least P115,000 a month. They are also entitled to various benefits including travel subsidies and health insurance. The rates, however, will depend on a teacher’s educational attainment.

Applicants must possess expertise in speaking English, a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree, and a clean criminal record. Licenses or teaching credentials are ideal but not required.
