Virtual Expo 2020 visitors reach 25 million as of December 5

The Expo 2020’s virtual visitors rose to 25 million driven by the uptake of Live@Expo that enables visitors to take a live virtual tour through the site.

Expo 2020 Dubai’s virtual website, Virtualexpodubai.com was also feted with the UK’s Favourite Website Awards (FWA) with the ‘Most Favourite Website Award’ for November 2021.

The UAE’s Golden Jubilee festivities and a raft of events have driven the number of visitors to Expo 2020 to 5.66 million.

As of December 5, the Expo 2020 Dubai saw a staggering 5,663,960 visits since it first opened on 1 October.

UAE’s Golden Jubilee festivities and slew of sports, music and cultural performances have driven the numbers.

Between October and November, a total of 5,383 government leaders visited the Expo alone which hosted a total of 10,461 events in just the first two months. (AW)
