Authorities have issued fresh COVID-19 rules to ease entry of travelers into UAE with the GCC citizens and foreigners required to present 14-day old negative PCR tests.
According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), the new COVID protocol will take effect from Tuesday, November 23.

Both GCC citizens or foreigners who have taken the approved vaccines and boosters must present a 14-day negative PCR test for entry into the UAE via all land ports.
It has been also announced that the people should also undergo a PCR test on the sixth day in case of staying for six successive days.

Non-vaccinated individuals must still present a 72-hour negative PCR test result at the time of entry to the UAE.
As per the guidelines, they must also undergo a PCR test on the fourth day of entry, and another PCR test on the eighth day in case of staying for several consecutive days. (AW)
