A man was crushed to death in the Ras Al Khaimah area, prompting the demand for tighter traffic regulations.
A truck hit the 40-year-old Emirati man’s car on the Al Rams — Khor Khuwair road, north of Ras Al Khaimah.

A hospital official said that the man died due to severe injuries and fractures. The residents of the northern regions of Ras Al Khaimah demanded tighter traffic regulations and installation of signboards.
According to residents, poor road conditions led to several accidents in the area and non-adherence to the speed limits on the roads also increased mishaps.

The man is survived by 5 children and was returning home from the market with his groceries. The family remains in a state of shock over the death. (AW)
