The UAE health sector announced that it will be restricting attendees in all events, exhibitions, and public activities to allow only vaccine recipients and those who are participating in the COVID-19 vaccine trials.
These events will include sports, arts, and cultural activities.
Moreover, all vaccinated event participants will be required to show their negative PCR negative results which should be taken in the last 48 hours.

“As well as showing a negative PCR result within a maximum of 48 hours prior to the date of the event, and to attend the events, the letter E must be visible in Alhosn application, while also following precautionary and preventive measures from June 6, 2021,” announced Dr. Farida Al Hosani, official spokesperson for the UAE health sector.
The ‘E’ icon shows as a ‘star’ for individuals who have participated in the COVID-19 vaccine trials.

The updated measures will be implemented across the country starting June 6.
To date, the UAE has reached the top of the global rankings in terms of vaccine distribution rate per 100 people. More than 78.11% of the eligible target group within the country got jabs and 84.59% of the elderly have also been vaccinated as part of the priority groups. (TDT)
