A fine of Dh300 awaits individuals who will use bikes or e-scooters on the jogging track and boardwalk at Dubai’s Kite Beach.
Signs were installed at the popular beach destination to inform the public of the fines.

The move came after Dubai Municipality banned e-scooters in public parks.
Dubai has conducted a trial in five areas in the emirate to test its safety for a year.

Dubai Municipality designated e-scooter areas in the emirate including Downtown Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Dubai Internet City, 2nd of December Street, Al Rigga and Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
Using E-scooters in other areas is considered illegal and can be apprehended by authorities. (RA)
