Ras Al Khaimah announced that it will extend the implementation of Covid-19 preventive protocols until June 8.
According to an announcement released Tuesday, the social distancing of two meters must be maintained, while wearing a mask in public areas is mandatory.
The following protocols will remain in place until June 8:
Beaches
The capacity of public beaches and parks will remain at 70 percent.

Malls
Malls and shopping centers are allowed to operate at 60 percent capacity.
Dine-in
Tables must have a two-meter distance in restaurants and cafes.
Only four people will be allowed to occupy a table except for members of the same family.

Social Gatherings
Meanwhile, family gatherings and community events such as weddings will have a maximum of 10 people while gathering for funerals will be limited to 20.
Public Transport and Recreation
The public transport, cinemas and recreational events and activities, fitness centers and gyms, as well as hotel swimming pools and beaches must operate at 50 percent capacity. (RA)
