All passengers arriving at the Abu Dhabi International Airport can get the free RT-PCR test with results in 90 minutes.
Its results can be shared via SMS, WhatsApp, and will also be available on the Alhosn mobile Application.
According to a press release by Abu Dhabi Airports, the in-airport rapid testing facility is the first of its kind in the region.
The Abu Dhabi Government also claims that the tests are among the fastest in the world.

With the partnership with Pure Health and Tamouh Healthcare, the region’s first in-airport laboratory, which is housed in 4,000-square meter facility with 190 staff, will operate 24-hour around the clock.
The lab can handle up to a capacity of 20,000 passengers daily.
Passengers who receive a negative PCR test and are from the list of ‘green’ countries, outlined by Abu Dhabi’s government, will not have to undergo the mandatory quarantine. However, those passengers who do not came from the list of ‘green’ countries will have to self-isolate in 10 days while wearing a ‘quarantine wristband’ obtained from the PCR testing tent attached to the airport.
For those vaccinated individuals who became a participant in the National Vaccination Programme and Phase III clinical trials who have identification mark (letter E or golden star) on the AlHosn app are exempt from quarantine procedures.
Testing is not required for the passengers transiting through the airport before departing for their final destinations.
