St Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai will start holding two daily masses with 30 percent capacity on February 1.
This came following the permission granted by the CDA to the church with a few conditions and guidelines.
These two holy masses will be conducted at 6:30a.m. and 7p.m. daily.
In order to control the number attendees, an online preregistration through the website of St Mary’s Church is needed.
Those above 60 years old and below 12 years of age are discouraged from applying, it said in an advisory.
The church also announced that there will be no distribution of the holy communion during the mass.
Allowed attendees will have to adhere to all the preventive measures in place. “All attendees must wear face masks and gloves at all times while in the church premises,” said.
They must be present 30 minutes prior the mass for thermal scanning.
All Church goers must also install the ‘Al Hosn’ mobile app.
