Saudi Arabia has implemented a 24/7 curfew in many of its cities and governates until further notice, Saudi Press Agency reported.
According to the Kingdom’s Ministry of Interior, the 24-hour daily curfew has been enforced in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Tabuk, Dammam, Dhahran, and Hafouf, and governorates of Jeddah, Taif, Qatif, and Al-Khobar. Entries and exits from these places have also been banned.
The ministry added that the curfew exemptions will include those working in the vital public and private sectors like security, military, healthcare, and media.
People living in these areas may only leave their homes from 6 AM to 3 PM to either buy food and medicine, as well as get medical care. Those who will go out should remain only in their residential areas.
