Saudi police arrested five African men on charges of stalking bank clients and stealing their money by smashing their car windows.
Newspapers said the five confessed to stealing nearly SAR400,000 (Dh390,000) from several people just after they leave their bank with money.
Some victims were robbed at knife-point while others had their money stolen from their cars after the thieves used metal objects to smash car windows.
Police nabbed the five after an abortive attempt to steal a bag from a man containing nearly SAR361,000 (Dh350,000), the report said.
