Saudi Arabia’s Najm for Insurance Services names its first Saudi female traffic accident inspector, Saudi Gazette reported.
The inspector started on her duties last August 27, where she monitored three traffic accidents occurring in Riyadh’s major roads and areas, like Khalid Bin Waleed Road and King Khalid International Airport.
The appointment, according to Najm’s CEO Mohamma Al-Suliman, is part of the insurance company’s commitment to upholding women equality in its workforce, and in turn, helping women empowerment throughout the kingdom—which is in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
In a report by Saudi Gazette, he added that appointing women in inspection and management roles proves how the company places confidence on its women employees.
Last 2018, Najm had conducted its intensive training program for its first batch of female inspectors. They will be assigned on jobs like inspecting traffic accidents, writing reports, and verifying documents of parties involved.
