When Filipinos think of Thai food – they almost always relate it to the tastes of seafood, noodles, chilies, and spices. However, Thai food has more to offer than just your regular Pad Thais and curries.
Enter Benjarong – UAE’s newest haven for Thai cuisine nestled at the 24th floor of Dusit Thani in Dubai. The signature Thai restaurant sets an immersive experience for each diner, befitting its multi-award-winning culinary venue that has a global presence across countries including Guam, Maldives, Hua hin, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, Cebu, Davao, and Manila.
The restaurant’s name is derived from the Thai word that means ‘five colors’. This translates to led five dimensions of flavor – sweet, spicy, sour, salty, and creamy, across various dishes created by Thai Chef de Cuisine Wichit Panyo and his team.
Taste of the sea. Benjarong’s Shrimp Cake serves up crispy fried shrimp pieces to be dipped in their special savory sauce. This pairs well with their Pomelo Salad with shrimps and crab roe on top of sweet sensations brought about by the pieces of pomelo to the tongue.
Benjarong’s Tom Yum may start off as a bowl of ingredients – but when the soup kicks in, you’ll get to enjoy that fusion savory and spicy flavors for that authentic Thai experience.
Savory meat dishes. One of Southeast Asia’s most common dishes is their rendition of the Satay, and Benjarong’s Chicken Satay doesn’t disappoint at all with each bite bringing out that meaty goodness that had been marinated with their special satay flavors.
Those craving for a mix of sweet, savory and a tinge of spice would definitely enjoy Benjarong’s Chicken with Cashew as it ticks all boxes above.
No Thai experience would ever be complete without the restaurant’s version of the classic Pad Thai. Benjarong’s Pad Thai fuses tender pieces of chicken with fresh vegetables, noodles and more of their secret ingredients that produce that vibe of authenticity in your Thai cuisine experience.
Tropical flavors. Thailand’s fresh mangoes are among the fruits you shouldn’t miss – and Benjarong brings this iconic tropical fruit to Dubai and matches it with a special sticky rice and a serving of Coconut Ice Cream for a delectable treat!
Benjarong also serves up their Creme Brulee with Coconut that is both a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Diners would enjoy the presentation of this dish with each bite bringing that sweet sensation for that sweet ending for your Thai cuisine experience.
