Filipinos and expat visitors at the Expo 2020 Dubai will be in for a treat as they will enjoy traditional Christmas carols at the upcoming ‘Paskong Pinoy sa World Expo’
OFWs will get to listen to their favorite Christmas songs at the Jubilee Stage of Expo 2020 Dubai this coming December 3, starting from 6:00 pm.
Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Hjayceelyn Quintana invites everyone to enjoy the spirit of Filipino Christmas celebrations in one unforgettable, nostalgic evening.
“Filipinos have the longest celebration of Christmas in the world. Warm your hearts as you listen to famous Christmas Carols. Let us come together for the Paskong Pinoy Christmas Chorale Concert at the World Expo,” said Amb. Quintana.
Performers include the Abu Dhabi Concert Chorus, the Dubai Vocal Ensemble, the Filipino Social Club Chorale, the Organisasyon ng mga Pinoy na Mang-aawit at Mananayaw sa Abu Dhabi (OPMMAD), and the St. Mary’s Filipino Community Choir.
UAE-based Filipino singer Peter Rosalita, who rose to fame with his powerful voice at the latest season of ‘America’s Got Talent’, will also serenade the audiences with popular Christmas hits onstage.
The ‘Paskong Pinoy’ Christmas concert, spearheaded by the Philippine Embassy in the UAE, is the brainchild of Amb. Quintana who started the ‘Paskong Pinoy’ series from her previous posts in Washington DC, Dublin, and Muscat – all of which have continued the tradition to usher in the spirit of Christmas for Filipinos abroad.
