His death in the cinematic universe has sort of jumped across the real life with an artist in Italy creating a monument in honor of Marvel’s Ironman.
The Ironman statue was created by sculptor Daniele Basso in the town of Forte Dei Marmi, Italy.
In a report over Cheetsheet.com, Basso designed the Ironman memorial with steel and brass entitled “Man of Steel.”
It has a plaque with Italian words that translate “The first monument dedicated to Iron Man in the year of his death in the cinematic world, we celebrate Tony Stark as a man who dedicates his life’s fortunes to fight for the ideals he believes in.. Reminding us that we are all the protagonists of our time, that the future of humanity depends on our decisions.. That all of us must be heroes.”
In a photo on twitter, the 400-cm tall statue feature the iconic “three-point landing” of Ironman as shown in the Ironman and Avengers movies series.
The artist created the figure for the Oltre Verso art exhibit in August. It immediately went viral with movie fans sharing the photos on social media.
