Hollywood’s Walk of Fame has long been known to be an iconic place where famous stars had gathered to earn their place – and Dubai has recently announced it will be making its own version, four times larger than that of Los Angeles’!
Emaar, the company behind Dubai’s famous tourist attractions such as the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, has announced that Dubai’s own version of the ‘Walk of Fame’ will be called: “Dubai Stars”.

The Dubai version of the ‘Walk of Fame’ would not be limited to just actors and musicians – it will also recognize and highlight the achievements of both local and international personalities in a wide variety of fields apart from music and film which includes: art, architecture, sports, and literature as well as “social influencers”.
Emaar has since envisioned “Dubai Stars” to be a place which is a “walkable tribute to stars and influencers from all over the world. Further underlining Downtown Dubai as the main tourist destination in Dubai, Dubai Stars will pay tribute to eminent personalities who have positively influenced the world through their work in various fields.”
