VIRAL: OFW gives full vent on her ‘demanding’ kumare

An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) took to Facebook and gave full vent to her disappointment about her ‘demanding’ kumare (close female friend) back home.

The OFW based in Bahrain, named Ruby Banta, posted on Facebook on June 16 the conversation thread between her and her friend, who was asking her a favor to shoulder the payment for clown on her godson’s birthday party.

“Sa mga kumare ko out there, at magiging kumare pa, nagkukusa po ako mag-regalo. Huwag kayong demanding.

Banta’s friend first asked for money to hire clowns for the party which would cost P3,000.

Saving up money for her vacation to the Philippines, the OFW said that she can’t afford to pay for the clowns. Instead, she offered to contribute P1,000 for the party expenses.

Banta’s friend continue to persuade her but the OFW stood her ground.

The friend then replied saying that the P1,000 she is offering won’t be able to afford anything.

It ended up with a word war between them, and the OFW’s friend blocked her on Facebook.

A few days after her initial post, Banta shared another post on Facebook showing her friend’s husband asking for an apology.

To end the issue and clear the air, Banta just sent the money for her godchild’s birthday party.
