‘Parokya ni Edgar’, Kamikazee, OPM artists deny joining Bongbong-Sara event in Zamboanga

Several OPM artists including iconic band ‘Parokya ni Edgar’ denied that they will be taking part in the UniTeam event of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte in Zamboanga on April 10.

In a now-deleted post, Parokya together with OPM hitmaker Zack Tabudlo, IV of Spades. Kamikazee, Agsunta, Philia, Cong TV and Team Payaman and Marcos supporter Toni Gonzaga were said to be part of the upcoming event.

The camp of Marcos has yet to confirm the legitimacy of the upcoming event. No official announcement has been made so far.

“This is not true,” Parokya said on its verified Facebook page.

Zack also slammed the fake news of him being included in the Marcos event.

“Awit peyk news na nga lang di pa magandang picture ginamit sa akin,” he said.

Blaster Silonga of IV of Spades also had a witty response on the alleged event.

‘Saan darating ang Tallano gold,” he wrote. Fans of the group also know that the band will not endorse the late dictator’s son.

Meantime, the member of the iconic band Kamikazee has a longer response to the fake event.

“Kung pangalan namin ang involved at pangalan namin na mahigit 20 years naming pinaghirapan ang gagamitin ng walang permiso, ibang usapan na ito,” Allan Burdeos said.

“Never kami magpaparticipate sa kampanya na ito nga SINUNGALING,” the Kamikazee drummer said.
