Lovi Poe is now an official Kapamilya.
She made the big jump to ABS-CBN even if the network lost in its franchise renewal bid last year.
“I would like to thank GMA for taking a chance on this unknown dreamer; for believing in me and supporting me all these years. I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you for planting my dreams. Thank you for giving it time, love and effort to water it,” she added.
On her first day as a Kapamilya, Lovi was greeted with a red carpet welcome led by ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, group CFO Rick Tan, and Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal.
Lovi will kick off her stint as Kapamilya opposite Piolo Pascual who was also welcomed by the network for his comeback.
This will be Lovi’s second project with the network. She first starred in an iWant movie project ‘Malaya’ in 2020 where she bagged a Gawad Urian nomination.
