Kris Aquino ends ‘guessing game’ on ‘mystery man’ who makes her heart beat again

Queen of all Media Kris Aquino ended the guessing game on the ‘mystery guy’ who makes her heart happy again.

The identity of the mystery guy was revealed when Aquino told a follower to look for the reply of former DILG Secretary Mel Senen Sarmiento, 59, to a netizen.

It turned out that Sarmiento used Aquino’s cellphone and Instagram account to reply to a netizen who said that the TV host should’ve kept her relationship private.

Aquino then practically confirmed that Sarmiento is her new beau after commenting: “Maybe now you’ll understand, that at least now there’s someone with the guts to stand up for me… Wala akong pinatatamaan, I’m just stating facts… because for the longest time that was what my friends & followers kept telling me—that I deserved someone na hands akong ipaglaban.”

Sarmiento was a Samar Representative from 2010-2015 and was later appointed as DILG Secretary by the late former President Noynoy Aquino.

To recall, Aquino had sent netizens abuzz after she greeted a ‘mystery guy’ on his birthday on Wednesday.

“Thank you for coming into my life… Happy birthday!” Aquino said on her Instagram account admitting that the man is her special someone.

“He really did come when my grief was unbearable; he continues to give me unselfish support & comfort; he’s been around for all my ups and downs, health woes, and tears,” she added.
