American TV talk show hosts are off-air but online

Popular hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon took to posting videos through their social media accounts after their respective shows were suspended amid the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 threat.
Kimmel, on his first “show” had what he jokingly called a “quarantine minilogue.”
He is isolated at home with his family, adding that “I learned I have two young children. Thank God for television. My blood type now is Disney positive.”

On the other hand, Fallon was able to raise $19,000 on his first 10-minute “At Home Edition” on Tuesday night for the Feeding America national food bank nonprofit.
He plans to raise funds for a different charity every night.
“I wanted to put something out there for you guys so we can have some levity in these bizarre times,” he said.
His wife Nancy Juvonen operated the camera, and his first guest was his dog. He said his very young daughters were adorably unenthusiastic about the whole thing.
