Actress Nadine Lustre broke her silence on her break up with her James Reid and the controversy hounding her exclusive contract with VIVA Artists Agency.
“It was hard at first, believe me it was really hard. But at the end of the day I said to myself, when I’m done with this challenge, when I’m done with this heartache, I’ll be a better, stronger person and I would learn so much from that,” Lustre said.
Lustre appeared to be unfazed by the controversies hounding her career.
“I have this mantra that I learned in the past few months- there’s no way around it only through it. All the challenges and hardships that come to your life, walang shortcut yun eh. You have to go through it,” she told ABS-CBN News.

Early this month, Lustre and Reid confirmed their break up in a statement released by TV host Boy Abunda.
“It’s true that we have split up, but not for all the reasons that being spread on the tabloids and social media, but because after a quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves not only for our careers but also for our personal growth,” Lustre and Reid said in a statement.
