Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is set to have her own Madame Tussauds wax figure, Gray and the famous wax museum announced on Monday, January 6.
Gray made an announcement by sharing a photo of herself holding a fake eyeball.
“Stay tuned,” Gray said.
In a statement, Madame Tussauds Singapore said that Gray’s wax figure will be wearing a replica of her iconic ‘lava’ gown designed by Mak Tumang.
The lava gown was the one Gray used when she was crowned in Thailand in 2018.
Madame Tussauds Asia Regional Manager Susan Ang said that the Catriona wax figure will first stay at Madame Tussauds Singapore in 2020.
“The Philippines market continues to be one of our strongest markets and has been very important to our attractions in Asia and we had seen an increase of travellers to Madame Tussauds in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore. We believe that by having Catriona’s wax figure, it will definitely be a huge draw and create the platform for her fans to get up-close with her in 2020,” the statement added.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao also got their wax figure recently.
