Kapamilya star Angelica Panganiban is in Italy together with some of her closest friends to celebrate her upcoming birthday on November 4.
And just like common Filipino tourists, Angelica went on food trips and even visited some of the country’s famous tourist spots.
However, one of the tourist destinations Angelica visited gave the actress a little amount of ‘trouble’.
Italian police have scolded the actress when she was caught sitting down on the Spanish Steps at Palazzo Di Bolgna.
The actress posted her photo on the world famous steps on her Instagram account.
“For almost 28 years, I have been in front of the audience. Naramdaman ko paano mahusgahan. Paano panoorin ang bawat galaw mo. Paano, magsalita, lumaban, para sa sarili mo. Sa pag-upo ko sa Spanish Steps, nahusgahan ako. Bawal pala umupo dito. Sorry na po mga pulis — at least, naka-isa,” Angelica wrote.
For travelers, Rome has implemented a ‘no sitting’ policy on the Spanish steps this year so that it will be free from trash.
Violators of the policy could be fined of at least Php14,000.00.
