Kapuso Actor Rocco Nacino was moved to tears after personally hearing the tales of some overseas Filipinos in Dubai.
Last month, the actor paid a visit to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) where he met some distressed OFWs.
This, aside from the Kapuso All-Stars Basketball Game organized by GMA Pinoy TV.
He was welcomed by Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes during his courtesy visit and met some OFWs who stay at the POLO office.
Rocco said he was able to hear and witness firsthand the courage and sacrifices of OFWs for their families in the Philippines. But he was happy to have been able to paint a smile on their faces.
“A day with our Consul General Paul Cortes at the Philippine Consulate to say hello to our OFWs waiting to go back home,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“So many stories to hear, nag-iyakan kami, nagtawanan pero happy ako na kahit papa’no, napasaya ko sila no’ng araw na yun,” the actor added.
Rocco is set to appear in the upcoming GMA-7’s remake of “Descendants of the Sun” joining Dingdong Dantes. (MN)
