After the controversy involving her and Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo, Julia Barretto shares a quote about being ‘mischaracterized’.
“When I am mischaracterized, how do I deal with it?” Julia said as she shared a quote from Canadian psychology professor, Dr. Jordan Peterson on her Instagram stories.
“Often, I get angry and want to break something. That’s a private response; mostly my family has to put up with that. Then, I usually calm down and think, ‘Let those who consider themselves my enemies reveal their hands,” the quote continues.
“So I try to detach myself, watch, and not jump too quickly to negative conclusions,” Julia posted.
Last month, Julia firmly denied that she had nothing to do with the breakup of Bea and Gerald.
She said that she was in the process of healing after the controversy.
“Wala kaming choice. We just have to respect each other’s pain. Everyone is hurting. Hindi madali ‘yung pinagdadaanan naming tatlo,” Julia told ABS-CBN News.
