Kapuso actor Alden Richards is poised to be the next block buster king after his movie with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo continues its record-breaking streak.
‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ earns more than Php800 million worldwide and is still showing in various cinemas. Bernardo’s 2018 film ‘The Hows Of Us’ is currently the highest grossing Filipino film of all time with a total earning of Php900 million.
Richards revealed that he messaged actor John Lloyd Cruz before doing the Star Cinema film helmed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Cruz who was a consistent starrer in Molina’s films before taking a showbiz hiatus replied to Richard’s text message.
“As long as you’re happy,” Cruz told Richards.
Netizens reacted on this exchange with the two actors and hope that Cruz will have a comeback film or project with Richards.
“Omg pag nagsama sina alden at JLC sa isang movie, kahit walang linyang sasabihin, mga mata pa lang nila pang award na!” one netizen commented.
Garcia-Molina on the other hand said on her previous interviews that she will do a film with Cruz when the actor is ready.
