Restaurateur and vlogger Erwan Heussaff defended his wife Anne Curtis from hurtful comments by netizens questioning her role in the VIVA film ‘Just A Stranger’.
Curtis is playing the role of a middle aged woman who’s in a relationship with an older man and later on got involved in a romantic fling with a younger guy portrayed by actor Marco Gumabao.
Some netizens even said that Curtis is disrespecting her marriage with Heussaff. Other called Curtis’ new project awkward.
“Last I checked, I’m the husband and I know how I feel (which is completely fine by the way, thanks for asking). So no need to throw around words like disrespect or dictate what a person should or shouldn’t do after getting married,” Heussaff wrote.
Heussaff and Curtis tied the knot in 2017 after being in a relationship for seven years.
“I’ve known my wife as an actress since day 1 and I have the utmost admiration for what she does. End of story. I don’t feel awkward or uncomfortable when watching these movies (you guys commenting make it awkward). I actually actively gave Anne inputs when I read the script on how I think the story could be developed or portrayed,” Heussaff added.
Curtis said that her husband has been very supportive with her craft.
