Broadway and Tony award-winning performer Lea Salonga may be used to compliments in her showbiz career but a fan from the United Kingdom still takes her by surprise.
Salonga is on her first UK concert tour that started in Cardiff last July 7 in Cardiff and will end on July 21 in London.
“I’m having lunch in Lytham today, and a really sweet ninja just left this note at my table. Whoever you are, thank you!” Salonga said in a tweet.
The table napkin message was written by an anonymous fan last Monday.
“May we say that yours was the most breathtaking rendition of I Dreamed a Dream we have ever heard, Truly beautiful. An emotional experience. Thank you,” wrote the fan who just signed off as “X.”
Salonga performed the Les Miserables hit in time for the Lytham festival on July 14.
The concert tour was postponed after her skiing accident. Salonga is set to fly back to Manila after her UK tour to return as one of the judges for the fourth season of The Voice Kids.
