Filipinos and expats who love the nostalgic hits from the popular band ‘Journey’ through the past decades will soon be enjoying an evening of their best hits as Journey’s Filipino frontman Arnel Pineda will do a one-night-only performance at the Dubai World Trade Centre’s Zabeel Hall this June 14!
From catching the ears and attention of popular music labels from his own personal hits, “Iiyak Ka Rin” (“You Will Cry Too“) and “Sayang”, Pineda’s career propelled through Youtube as he was discovered by Journey’s Neal Schon who invited the former to audition in the United States as the band’s frontman.
The Recording Industry Association of America lists Journey as the 25th best selling band of all time – having sold more than 48 million albums in the U.S. alone. Their classic sentimental and rock hits have since become mainstays of the Philippines’ radio airwaves especially during the nighttime.
