Lolit Solis defends Julia Montes, Coco Martin amid baby rumors

Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis took to her Instagram account to give her two cents regarding the allegations involving Kapamilya actress Julia Montes.

Over the past few days, Montes has been all over entertainment news websites after several reports claimed that she has already given birth to her first child with actor Coco Martin.

The actress has not yet addressed the issue but Solis decided to weigh in on the issue saying that she doesn’t understand why people are making a big deal out of it because, even if the rumors are true, Montes and Martin are two single adults who know what they are doing.

“Ewan ko ba bakit ganun na lang ang interest ng mga tao kung nanganak o hindi si Julia Montes. Mas magulat sila kung si Coco Martin ang nanganak noh. Dalaga si Julia, binata si Coco, so ano problema kung magka-baby sila? Bakit ginagawang big deal?” Solis said in an Instagram post.

Solis added that people should not question if Montes and Martin would like to keep some aspects of their lives private.

“Gusto nila itago, so what? Bakit natin kailangan natin kalkalin at pilitin? Kung totoo iyon, bakit hindi sila bigyan ng time para sila magbalita at magsalita?” she said.

The entertainment columnist also said that people should stop spreading ridiculous stories about how Montes gave birth to her child.

Solis said that there is one rumor saying that Montes came to the hospital with her face and entire body covered so that no one will recognize her as she delivers her child.

“Bigyan muna natin ng space kasi nga hindi naman krimen. True or not, si Coco at Julia lang ang may alam at nakakatawa na nga mga balitang lumalabas, parang James Bond story na, hindi na believable,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Solis spoke up about the rumors about Montes and Martin.

She previously said through a separate Instagram post that she is happy for Montes and Martin and that she believes that the two celebrities will admit the truth eventually.
