Millions of fans got excited when a fast-food chain released a commercial of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion “reuniting” on screen.
However, in real life, the 80’s star couple has not yet reconciled.
To recall, Sharon dropped her reunion movie with her ex-husband in May 2018, revealing that “on-and-off negotiations” and “power-tripping” from Gabby’s camp pushed her to say no from the said project.
Recently, a fan asked the Megastar in the comment section of her Instagram post if she and Gabby are her former husband.
The megastar responded: “No pa nga eh. Hayaan na natin buti na ganito.”
This, as Sharon shared in her official Instagram account a picture of her and her daughter KC daughter.
“The very best project/ production of Sharon & Gabby,” Sharon said.
Sharon and Gabby, among the most popular tandems in the ’80s, married when they were in their late teens.
The 3-year marriage produced one daughter, KC, who is also an actress and TV host.
“She got her Pa’s perfectly handsome face, and most everything else from Ma,” she added.
